GSG 16 Canadian Dealer Confusion

I was wondering if someone here can clear up some of my confusion. I see that the GSG 16 will soon be available in Canada and dealers are taking deposits on it.

Well I have been reading the posts on CGN about the GSG16 and I really don`t know who the Actual Canadian distributor is. I see at least 4 postings by different people showing the GSG16 and also mentioning that they are taking deposits with a link in their posts.

What I want to know is:

1) IS there a one Canadian Source?
2) IF there was a problem, will that source correct that problem OR will you be told to go through "hoops" and then contact the U.S importer?
3) What ALL comes with the GSG16 sold in Canada?
4) What is the Full price of the GSG16 before the $100.00 deposit. Never mind the S&H, Taxes?

If anyone wants to add a question about the GSG16 specially, NOT about aftermarket stocks, please do.

Let us try and answer these questions for you.

1) IS there a one Canadian Source?

We, Blue Line Solutions, out of Vancouver, BC are the Official Canadian Importer and Distributor of German Sport Guns (GSG) products in the country since 2007. We supply 99% of Canadian gun businesses, so most likely any GSG product you are buying comes from us. To avoid after sale problems, always make sure to check the markings on the gun, (see pictures below)

2) IF there was a problem, will that source correct that problem OR will you be told to go through "hoops" and then contact the U.S importer?

You will contact your dealer, and the dealer can go through us, or you can contact us directly and we will take care of all the service/warranty needs.

3) What ALL comes with the GSG16 sold in Canada?

All official Blue Line Solutions imported GSG-16, with the serial numbers that start with BL ###X, and the Blue Line Solutions logo engraved on the side (see picture below), will have limited lifetime warranty offered through us, and any problems, issues or questions will be handled by us, in Canada. As for serial numbers that do not start with the two letters BL, you will have to go back to the dealer and inquire. But let's be clear, it is certainly not going back to the manufacturer in Germany for repair, like claimed in other threads, but the U.S. importer.

4) What is the Full price of the GSG16 before the $100.00 deposit. Never mind the S&H, Taxes?

The MSRP is pegged at $459 plus tax, depending in what province you reside, but the Blue Line Solutions GSG-16 comes with one (1) extra magazine. Also an optional Blue Line 110 Rounds Drum Magazine will be available for your pleasure.

And whoever said they had the first GSG-16 in Canada .... pppfft, we've been enjoying it for almost a year now.

Makes sense. That was the deciding factor for me... I've been burned waiting on 2 pre-order that went farrrrr beyond the expected delivery date- including GSG and Blue Line. I've got nothing against them, but if ATI has them made and IRG is ready to import..... sold.

I saw that, may have swayed me had I not already ordered. Ultimately I opted for the bird in the hand (gun already built and being imported). I don’t feel like dealing with pre-orders again. I will buy all mags/accessories from Canadian stores though, when they get here.

Maybe it's my age...maybe it's my (limited) experience with pre-orders/waits...but I'm holding off until I can walk into a store and buy one. Tenda is 2 minutes from my office, so for sure...I'll go and fondle one very soon after they get them. While I'm not (normally) a high-capacity-mag OR semi guy...I may start with buying a "round" mag" or two, considering the slimy Liberal climate this country is suffering under. At least until Oct.21.

Im very interested in getting one, but I think I'll wait until I can see and handle one in person. I'm two minutes from Tenda, so when they get some in I'll take a good look at them.

You had to show a picture of the GSG 5 didn't ya ? Now I want both and I'm probably gonna get divorced or have to sleep outside in December. Take my money already.
