GSG-16 Case Rupture and Basic Gun Review

That other guy scares me. I think I looked at this closer than he did. He kept shooting!
 
I'm the other guy! lol.
I did do a basic, quick look over of the rifle before firing again, bore was clear and everything was intact.

Its good you checked it. It didn't sound as if you had.

Has it happened since? Wondering if you changed ammo or anything too.
 
Ya, that thread turned into a ####show, i bit my tongue and abandoned entirely rather than arguing.
A member here who lives locally no longer has a .22 but still had 500 rounds of ccl ammo offered to drop it off at my house after reading my thread. Man I love the gun community!
I cleaned thoroughly and have only put about 50 down since but I'm convinced it was the cheap ammo, and maybe not a proper cleaning from time of purchase.
Either way, no more $100 tub of 2000 remington 22s going down this rifle
