I was hoping we were past this....apparently its still happening.

Well, we don't know really. We have one side of the story, and there aren't many details to it either.

No second JR scandal, just would have assumed the community would have learned a lesson the first time around.
Trying to prohibit something? Why?
Other than the fact the "all knowledgeable" firearms lab already gave it a pass, for what safety purpose would it serve? There's no other logical reason to prohibit it from a free democratic society

I tried calling BL to get their version.
I recorded the call.
They specifically said that they had been in talks with police because the ATI guns "weren't submitted to the RCMP for approval" and were therefore illegal.
I answered by saying the IRG documentation and FRT proves otherwise. The gentlemen kept interrupting me and didn't want to let me finish my sentences.
he then diverted the conversation to saying they had been working on these for 12 years and a lot of lawyer fees and a bunch of other excuses we've heard before that have nothing to do with anything. I was then told to go on gunnutz and look for an announcement in a half hour. Then the guy litterally hung up on me. I had remained polite and calm throughout the call.
As it stands it is looking VERY bad for BL.

Thanks Youza, but the story was and is pretty clear. The only thing that i am waiting for is, why did BLS ( ball licking....) actually made the phone call to the CFO? My focus is no longer who made the call, we all know its BLS, they are the exclusive importer for GSG. What was the intention behind it? Do they not foresee the outcome? Do they not know the consequences from the whole swiss arms debacle?
Technically speaking, does IRG even need a FRT? it literally is the same firearm with 2 extra laser marking on it? Thats like all the Spike's tactical AR lower? They are all the same, just with different colour options and engraving!???

Would prefer the actual recording than your account of it. Not trying to say what you claim didn't happen, but for all we know you could have been a #### lobbing accusations, which would have led me to hang up on you too. Again, not trying to discredit what you've said, just would like indisputable evidence, y'know.
