Gsg 16 Drum mag.?

I've used mine once, jammomattic.
I'm 95% sure issues were I rushed loading it (110 takes time) and left gaps(?)

Even taking your time it’s a piece of crap. I have 3 of them, only one works ok. Doesn’t matter what ammo I use makes no difference. Trouble loading, jams, follower jams, all kinds of problems.

Haven't had any problems with the two I have, take your time and load them properly and they function no problem,,,at least with the two I have

If someone want to get rid of a 'broken' drum mag, I can take it and open it up to see if a 3d designed mod can help with the missfeeds etc.

This drum would be a guinea pig, so I don't expect to pay retail for anyone 'volunteering' one to sell to me.

If in the Ottawa region, even better to save shipping.

This might also be of help for the straight magazine project I have on the go.

i read a bunch of US reviews first (because they have had 16 for a while) and they said it wasn't that reliable so i spent my money and bought 2 extra stick magazines to go with 2 it came with instead.

also i don't really like look with drum but that's personal

How about the 22 rnd mags.

Any good?

My “22-round” magazines work pretty well. You can actually fit 24 rounds in them, which at first the rifle didn’t like. Once the mags got broken in a bit better, it eventually handled the 24 rounds fine.

I’ve never tried the drum magazines, but there sure are a lot of negative reviews on them.

Magazines work fine, drum works fine as well, BUT you need to read the manual for the drum, watch the videos, and take your time loading or you will have issues.

Might be worth a shot to spray some REM oil in them and work the spring to see if you can clear out any crud. I had a friend do this to mags that were giving him problems and they turned out just fine.

I did lube the magazines as well.

Ran three full drums thru mine worked awesome with copper plated rounds, kid was pissed loading. :)

Needed ear muffs, loud with the short Dlask barrel.

I had trouble with the drum until I learned how to properly load it. Do not push in ammo or you will dent the thin brass casings causing failure to feed or jams. The drum when loaded properly is awesome!
