So...they banned...that particular stock...?? I hope not, because...damn...I also like the look of that much better than the one the rifle comes with.

The GSG-5 was classified as prohibited and was never sold in Canada. I believe they stopped making them in 2009 after a lawsuit by HK so it would probably be difficult to find that stock available for sale anywhere.

Im sure you could convert an airsoft stock to fit just fine. There's plenty of bubbas out there just waiting patiently with their exacto knives.

Dumb question, they are NR because OAL or barrel length? I'd totally get a solid stock if it meant shorter barrel.

OAL. Barrel length is not a factor with rimfires. Even semi auto rimfires.

That is a gsg-16 with a different stock. Still fine with oal. So yeah, you could put a different stock on. I like the look of this one better. It will be fun to see how people customize the gsg-16.

Ya, just get it imported so everything is above board. Easy enough, lots of good companies in Canada.
