Gsg-16

Hearsay from US is that the receiver action is the same as the gsg5.

I hope this passes and then we can go back and ask why the gsg5 was prohibited.

Hows that when this has the ability to be ambi?? Charging handle can be swapped and another thing I cant remember but nothing makes any sense when it comes to the CFO

well hopefully the lab doesnt diddle with this one, this would be freaking awesome!

Id almost prefer to have the stock pinned and a short barrel on it myself, but I love shorty 22 rifles :)

And here I was thinking the KS7 was the only cool new thing at shot.

I'm guessing a 4 year wait atleast tho??

Just to give you an idea on wait times, the Walther G36-22 took approximately 3 years to classify when in actuality it was stalled for most of that time waiting for a sample rifle to be procured, when it was sent to the lab it only took approximately 180 business days to classify.

The FX-9 rifle took roughly the same amount of time about 180 business days to get classified.

The Firearms lab tries to get things in and out in 180 business days assuming they aren't waiting for information from the manufacturer or a sample firearm to test.

I would replace my GSG-15 with one of these in a second just to get that bolt hold open.

This is the last hurrah of that stupid argument - mooted by the RCMP - that some thing is "derived" from a 12.5-style gun if it looks like the 12.5 gun - even there are no common parts or operating mechanisms. Not only is this nonsense, but they (the RCMP firearm assessment bureaucrats) don't even apply that "logic" consistently. Why is the MP40 22LR look-alike Okay and the MP5 look-alike not? This is the kind of arrogant, inconsistent over-administration that drives a wedge between the firearms control bureaucracy and the public.

Don't even get me started on the pretense used to ban "high capacity" 10/22 mags.

This is how the RCMP undermines the support from the public which they need to do their work.
