I recently bought a gsg to introduce my wife to pistol shooting. After 500 rounds she has claimed it as hers and put in an order for feminine style grips. My problem is upon inspection I found the barrel had been rubbing on the bushing and oblonged it a little.
Being new to shooting I couldnt use her groupi g for accuracy judging. At my best at 20m I could do a 10 inch group using a rest. Can anyone tell me if they have had similar problems? Possible causes?
Barrel is wearing at 7 oclock as looking at it from the front. Have pics I can email if anyone interested.

It's not normal, the factory usually machines the bushing enough so the barrel doesn't touch it. As for a possible fix, you could contact Blue Line and see what they so, or if it were mine I'd just grab a round file to the bushing until it no longer touched the barrel.

Mine looks the exact same. I think its caused by the Allen screw coming loose while shooting. The barrel moves around a lot if the screw is loose. If you don't use locktite you really need to stay on top of it while shooting. Mine would constantly need to be tightened and I could easily tell when it started getting loose because my groups would open up.

I just bought the ZRTS kit from blueline which has a wider thread protector so I'll see how that works. I still plan on running the Allen screw but some reviews say you don't need it anymore once you install the kit.
