Hey everyone,

I want to buy either one of these pistols but would like to know peoples prefrences on them and see what one is better/different.

Is gsg a better company when it comes to .22's?

thanks for the help

The GSG 1911 has been getting much better reviews than the Chiappa. I'd definitely go with that, and plan to pick one up myself, someday.
Let's see how many Zapp Brannigan-avatared users in a row we can get up in here.

I've seen, handled and shot them both. GSG wins by a country mile. They can both benefit from a trigger job but the GSG has cleaner die casting on the frame and the slide to frame fit is to die for. A very slick feeling gun.

Oh, and I'm sorry I broke the ZB avatar chain... :D

Saw & handled them both before making my choice.

I bought the GSG 1911 .22lr and am completely happy with mine. I am considering picking up a second one.
