Hi all.
I recently bought a GSG 1911 22 from a fellow CGN'r - love the pistol and have had zero issues with it.
I bought a GSG Bridge Mount and installed it on the pistol along with a compact red dot sight. I can't stop the bridge mount from sliding on the rail during shooting, due to the recoil (which is surprising - it is a 22, after all). I've tightened the two screws as much as I dare to without stripping them, but still the mount will move 5mm or more after 50 shots.
The mount came with what I presumed was a set screw, but it doesn't seem to have any function.
Anyone have any suggestions? I've been thinking about putting some epoxy in the mount to try to secure it better.
Thanks.
