Did your GSG .22 mags come in yet?
The threads are metric and not your standard 1/2 by 28. You could run a tap through the fake silencer to make it fit a common barrel thread.

Dear Jamiejaf,

We are still waiting on the mags from Germany. We expect to have them in soon.

Best regards,
Scott

Thread pitch on GSG 1911-22 Fake cans.

what is the thread pitch ? can i put these on a rifle as well ?

Super hard to find this info, but persistence did prevail.
Threads are metric M9 x .75, almost impossible to find a tap and die in this size, but again, persistence will prevail.

Hi I am new to pistols and looking for a relatively cheap starter and I like the look of 1911's.
The tactical version with fake suppressor is in stock in a local shop...

Is there a purpose to this besides looks? Is it rifled? Does it improve accuracy?

No. No. No.

And it's still on my want-to-buy list.

KBC tools can get them, if they are not in stock, and they run about a 1/4 of the cost of any gun supplier for top quality taps and dies...

Hello Rabuol,

Though I have not seen a Colt Gold Cup in person to check, through my research it appears the Colt threading is M8x.75. The threading on the GSG is M9x.75 so it would not appear to fit. If i have any further information I will post it in here.

Best Regards,
Ryan
