OK so I took it apart...put it back together now I can't recall if the grip safety rattled sided to side while not griped is this normal? It rattles when not griping it...

I am going to shoot it tomorrow and I don't want to break it...

Grip safety is functioning? Can't pull the trigger without gripping.

Sorry I am a total paranoid noob....

Okay so... I think the rattle is normal... false alarm. Next question.

Is it possible to not get the hammer strut in the mainspring housing hole and still have it function? If it functions can I assume it is in the right spot?

Nevermind I think I got it...

Yup a little rattle is normal and if you got the gun back together the hammer strut is in the right spot.
