GSG 1911 - is this normal?

Just noticed that there is a gap in the barrel (rifling doesn't go all the way forward). Is that normal?

Yes. That's actually just an extra piece that can be removed with a wrench.

When you take it off, you can add the fake silencer if you wish.

Dexter is right on - just a cap to protect the threading underneath for the fake can.

If you take the wrench that is in the GSG box under the foam. You can take it off and then thread on the GSG fake silencer. We also have the threaded adapters coming in as well so you can but a muzzle break or compensator on it as well.
