GSG 1911 Long Term Problems

gsg 1911-22

good day all:
i purchased a1911-22 from dlask arms in delta bc,just over a year ago.
i ordered it with a trigger job and a dlask flat mainspring housing.
i've put about 2500 rnd through it so far and the only problem i had was the guide rod snapped at the base and the barrel retaining bolt kept coming loose after about 200 rnds.
i talked to dlask arms and they sent me a new guide rod(beefier than the one that came with it)and spring. blue locktite solved the loose bolt problem.
i have had no other problems with this pistol.
just to let everyone know, dlask arms has replacement steel sights that are adjustable.
and they are on sale right now.
i'm very happy with this pistol, when i get to shoot it(my wife has laid claim to it)
i'm calling dlask in 5 mins to order a set of the sights befor the price goes back up.

I had an original bushing break on me. Brought it into Blue Line and they gave me the new replacement part right there

You can fault GSG for some of their early build quality, but you sure can't fault Blue Line for their service. Always great!

Forgot to post an update... Blueline sent me a new bushing and I bought the spare parts kit. Shipped quickly to Ontario too. GSG is back up and running. Thanks Blue Line!
