GSG 1911 Magazine Feed Issues

I think I've damaged two of my magazines with snap caps. I fired them too many times, deforming the head. Last time I loaded them into two of my magazines, a couple of them got stuck, as in, beat out with a dowel stuck. I was worried that I'd now have feed issues so I marked them.

Now, when I'm shooting on the range, regardless of ammo, those two magazines have issues feeding the second round of a fresh magazine into the chamber. When I load the magazine and rack the slide, if I eject the magazine, the second round is stuck. I have to give it a whack to get it to move up in the mag. I can see a spot where it might be catching.

Subsequent firings are ok cause the energy is enough to cause the rounds to get over the burr.

Any tips on fixing this? Do I just file out the burr and that's it? Anything to be concerned about?

As an aside, I'm now using #4 drywall anchors for dry fire. They work awesome!
 
Needle file and a few minutes of labour. I had a 1911 mag that had a similar issue loading the first round, follower caught on a small burr. Filed it off, bobs yer uncle.
 
Just following up. The burr in the mag was just covering up the real issue. After getting rid of it, those two mags (the older of the 5) worked for 4 loads of 10 rounds a piece and then they were back to their old habits. In addition, the other three mags started acting up too. More googling...found that a lot of guys were stretching the springs from 6" to 6.5" and it was fixing their problem. Checked my five mags and 4 of the springs were measuring 5.75", the last measured at 6". Gave them a good stretch, and a box of Federal Blue Box Bulk later, not a single failure to feed.

Worked all five mags through the WRAS Steel Challenge this past weekend and no feeding issues whatsoever.
