I'm reserving judgement until I see the price and hear about the build quality. It would be nice to have a full size 1911 in .22lr, but not if it turns out to be a pot metal abortion with a cap gun trigger.

I'll wait a year or two to check out reports on how it is, durability, etc. Until then I'll stick with my Ruger 22/45 4.5" slab barrel. With the Ultimate Clip loader I just got I just toss in a box of .22, shake insert mag....fully loaded mag. great for winter shooting with gloves!!!!

We are excitedly expecting our first shipment of the GSG 1911 to arrive next month; we are currently waiting to receive a cost calculation from the manufacturer, which will allow us to advertise the definite price. By the end of the week, we should have all of the information posted to our online store, where we will be accepting pre-orders for this pistol. Stay tuned for updates!
