GSG 1911 Sights

My plastic sights suck and the search engine on this site does too.What has anyone replaced thier stock sights with?Anything is better than whats on it.

Any help?

It'll take some careful filing on your part, but I do believe that standard 1911 steel sights can be fit and that is the fix.

I can shoot with it. i would just like something better/easier to see.Thanks for the link.Any Fiber optic sets available?

The fiber optic front sight for the Kimber pistols is just a tad bigger but has the same angles. A very small amount of filing and it will pop right in and stay where you put it. That is what I put on mine when I had it.

Yes there is a very nice fiber optic sight on the market, the problem is they won't ship to Canada. if you find a way to get them I will be very interested in buying one for my gun. Dawson Precision made a front sight for the GSG1911
