$400 US is too much. Even if it was $400 Canadian. Not for a plastic framed 1911 gun. And it does look like plastic to me.

What is the hole (?) at the top front of the trigger guard?

What is the hole under the slide lock?

I would rather buy another gun designed from the start for 22LR or buy a conversion kit or gun that can be converted back to 45 ACP.

I don't see a big market for it in this country. Perhaps in other countries that have different rimfire laws than their center fire laws.

I did not hear this from an exceptionally reliable source, so take it with some salt.

It is supposedly all-steel and shares parts with most other 1911's. The picture at the top of this thread is of a prototype, not a production model, so there may be some minor changes.

As I said, not a reliable source. Don't take this as gospel.

I've read the same thing on numerous other rimfire forums SCDL. Apparently it's just a prototype and the actual production models will not be 2 pieces leaving those nasty looking lines haha. Almost all forums based from the states say if it's built anything like the GSG-5 than this will be a solid firearm.
