I had a lot of problems with mine. In my case, the solution was to grind the slide and "dust cover" part of the frame at the front. They were making contact on one corner and restricting the slide motion.
The finish chipped early on so I took it down to bare and found a paint that is as close to "stainless" as I could get, making it a two tone.
Replacement mags solved a couple issues, and I made a buffer myself that has lasted thousands of rounds.
I recommend this gun to anyone who asks. Seriously. I had troubles, but mine was an early model and I'm hearing the bugs are all worked out. Happens with cars too when they bring out new designs, so why not guns?
It's very fussy about slide lube. Remington Dry lube seems to work best.
I've had mine almost three years now, use it every weekend, don't baby it because I bought it to pound, and I'm guessing I'm somewhere around 15 000 rounds through it.
