GSG STG 44 in 22LR Whats the big deal?

I shot mine today with Mini Mags, SK Standard Plus, and Remington Bucket o Bullets. It cycled everything fine, no stoppages. I've got about 300 rounds out of it with only the cleaning before first firing and the only stoppage was a couple days ago when a Rem BOB bent on feeding in the first mag.

I keep it hanging on the wall in my cabin, I can shoot my berm from the front steps, looks a lot better than my 10/22 stainless that held that spot.

People have mentioned a reproduction sling, anyone have a source they could direct me to?

We can only post if LA asks us to. I did not understand that until it was explained. Special rules for a special guy. That being said, f**k the rules. I like hot dogs and the GSG STG-44. I know I'm not allowed to like the STG in this thread, I understand that and I did it anyways. This post was completely uncalled for. Hot dogs. Thank you.

I had to set mine up high at the bench as well but this was for sighting in only. It shot really low out of the box. Once sighted in it was standing only. It is truly a fun gun to shoot. Personally I never was aware of the weight. Too busy shooting. The .22 bay I was shooting at goes to 40 yds and anything golf ball size was in big trouble. The Dancing 5" Reactive target ball took a beating that afternoon. Everyone wanted to shoot it as well. Draws a lot of attention.

A very different .22 rifle. Glad I grabbed one. I think they're awesome.

How many rounds did you go threw? Does it have the same isues as most 10/22s?
Being a GSG Id hope not.
Funny how Super, hoyt and chem can be call me names.
Other than calling them out on trolling I havent lowered myself to their level.

I shot between 350-400 rounds. I had a BOB courtesy of Remington and a box of Federal Auto Match. There were no issues really with either bullet. I bought an extra mag with the rifle and kept them both topped up. Would have shot more and with different types but I had an appointment in the aftenoon. Near the end I had a few failures to feed but it was quite dirty by then. Take down and stripping for cleaning is a breeze. Looking forward to my next session. I have a number of 10-22's, some stock and some builds. What issues are you referring to? My Rugers run just fine especially with TI mags. :)

At no point did I call you a name, that is a lie on your behalf sir.

Only person here trolling is you with this thread, just own up to it like a man and move on.

You really think starting a bashing thread on highly anticipated rifle that took three years to make it through the RCMP classification lab is not going to draw any flack? All the while accusing others of trolling. If Id lowered myself to your level I'd be forced to dig a hole to reach it.

As for the weight I recommend starting with sets of 8 with 3.75lb rifles for gunups and working your way up to the apparently 10lb monstrosity this rifle is.
