Gsg stg-44 non-restricted rifle

Sorry, I lost track of this forum for a bit. If phoning the FRT will actually help, I'll definitely make a phone call. Is there anything we should say other than asking them to expedite the process? Just curious; I don't want to make things worse by accident.

Ive never complained about a .22 classification before but all this feet dragging for a .22 really is starting to get ridiculous. Come on let her have NR status so we can get out shooting!!
I think it might get restricted classification because of barrel length. The SSD mp44s are that way

The AK47 is prohibited
The AK22 (looks like a AK47 in 22 lr) is prohibited
The MP44 is prohibited
The STG44 (looks like a MP44 in 22 lr) is 'What do you think !"
lol

The MP44 isn't prohibited unless it's full auto. The Semi only SSD STG44's are Restricted due to barrel length. The GSG STG 44 should be non-restricted.

You can use drywall screws to attach an AK stock to just about any rifle if you really wanted to so I guess the ban hammer just fell on most everything already out there. The classification methods certainly may seem like a bit of a joke at times but it really isn't...

Yeah it's just too bad, its a bit surprising we would see such a long wait over a .22 I can totally understand extra scrutiny for a big or even medium caliber rifle but it sorta seems like a bit much for a plinker. Oh well hopefully the outcome is positive.
