Gsg stg-44 non-restricted rifle

Instead of 22lr, would there be any advantage (from a coolness factor) of chambering it in another rimfire round such as 22 WMR or 17 HMR or something.

Since it is in the prototype stage, it would suspect they might be willing to make the rather minor engineering change to step up to a beefier, yet still "non-evil" cartridge.

Anyone know a GSG Sales Rep that could put a bug in his ear?

Dear Moose308,

There isn't a GSG sales rep for Canada. We are the exclusive dealer and wholesaler for GSG. We will forward your suggestion to German Sports Guns but at this time they only currently make .22lr

Best regards,
Scott

I'd prefer a nice wooden crate to go with it as an option only. I'd buy one, but I understand that a lot of folks wouldn't.

Any word on whether the MP40 will be restricted on non-restricted?

MP 40 all the way. I 'll never pay 3000$ for a MP 40 9mm.
500$ for a the one in .22......anytime!

I would if it was full auto full mags and legal for me to own it :D

that would be fun to shoot.. but since I cant have it Ill get a .22 semi ;)

I hope they are all non restricted but you never know how the rcmp are going to do it since it looks scary..
