It feels & shoots like a real 1911 - but without the recoil. It will be as accurate as you can make it be. Better sight adjustment would be nice, but grouping is excellent. I enjoy it almost as much as my .45 Trojan - but at a fraction of cost, both for the gun itself & the ammo. The trigger is almost as good, too.
 
Well I just bought a GSG last week and I was about to drop more cash on the Kimber .22 conversion kit as well. but then it just hit me..... :HR: why buy a kimber kit when I could buy another GSG for an extra $30 bucks. this hit me about 1 hour ago at work.

Went and handled a bunch of guns today - the GSG 1911 is the real deal in terms of solid equipment. Everyone has said positive things about them feeding/firing/extracting all sorts of ammo so I'd say it's well worth the $$$$$ Way cooler than a Ruger MKIII or 22/45
 
Have you seen the buffers Dlask Arms is selling for the GSG? The “RED BUFFERS” prevent the slide from battering the frame during recoil. Came across them when looking for something else on their site. When I buy a GSG I think for a few bucks these make sense.
