GTA training/1 on 1 training. Anyone out there?

Who's the best is considered by current standings, not past standings. Derril is one of the best to ever come from this country, but would he still stand at the top now? hard to say, he's a natural shooter and might jump right back in. But age could have caught up to him too. So it's not a fair comparison to make. Same goes for any of the other aging Champs. Our current champs, are, accordingly, the best in our country, it makes no sense other to claim otherwise. Those in 2nd place and further down, were beaten, they lost. They are not the best in the country, currently.
as for teaching, well obviously you need to find someone local, and in that case, Alex would be a great start, or Rob Elliot, he's a phenomenal instructor. I've never seen Alex teach, so I can't address that, Rob I have though, and he's excellent.
 
I think one point that needs to be considered is the ability to shoot and the ability to teach people how to shoot are separate concepts.

Some people can teach.

Some people can shoot.

But people who are at the top of the game AND can pass winning points on to others is a rare gift.

I would rather take notes from a #10 shooter who can teach than from a #1 shooter who cannot.
