Did you mean to say Ontario Provincials instead of "Guelph Provincials"? I am sorry dude.... cant help it... :p:D:dancingbanana::evil:

Yeah.. learned the hard way.. Weak hand shooting means "do not place or touch your other hand on the table when you are shooting"..

It's considered "support" (10.2.8.3).

Zero'd that stage.:bangHead::bangHead::bangHead::bangHead::

come on, a full day of people shooting, we should have more comments ;) !

BTW, how's the surface? Is it sand? grass? wood chips? etc?

Surfaces are all good (grass) except one stage which you must shoot from a plank (2 2x12's x 20 foot).. it was a bit wet in the morning, so it was a bit slippery (for flat shoes) but not that bad.. if it's dry out it will be fine.

It's a good mix of long and short distances, and god mix of steel and paper.. my only suggestion (to GRGC) is to paint the steel a different color.. having white steel on a stage with no shoots (in one case right in front of the no shoots).

I shot the Prematch on Wednesday in the mist and rain.

Yesterday was Hot and cloudy.

Today was a scorcher with an occasional cloud to send some welcome relief...

Tomorrow looks to be even HOTTER!!

If anyone is visiting...drop in on Pit 5 (stages 9 and 10).....Bring me a popsicle!!

It is great to be at the match with both my kids. Trinity is working the stats with Juile and Quigley....Diablo is my official "range rat" and is working the steel in my range. They shot with me on Wednesday.

This is my BEST match ever in terms of performance and I put it on my new Tan LC!!!

Great match, great stages, great people.

Well I got a chance to see the stages this evening as everyone was finishing up. I don't shoot until Sunday when of course it is supposed to hit over 40 degrees factoring for humidity. Yikes! So everyone make sure you bring tons of fluids if you're shooting that day. We don't want anyone stroking out on us.

The match looks great, with a good mix of accuracy and fundamentals, moving targets, and shoot-and-move as well as some nice opportunities to just kick in the after-burners and go like hell, so there's something for everyone. Everything seems to be running quite smoothly also, so you can expect to get to the beer in decent time.

It should be loads of fun

Ok..... here are pictures of all of the stages:

great match

shot on Friday. fun stages, non too tricky and thinking way too much. just mostly fun to shoot & lots of skill shots.
I tanked 3 stages :(, 2 more than I'm willing to accept at a level 3. but sooo much fun, Had a great time .
Thanks to all for putting on a great match. we were done by just after 4pm.
Hmmm ...time left for a couple of more stages ?:p

good luck to everyone still shoot'n.

well what was the heated disscussion about?... let me guess and I'm only guessing here... new classification system??

Nope the new system was barely mentioned. It was more in line with how to........inspire...yes thats the word INSPIRE people to make the trip out to BC for the Nationals!

BTW...I had a great 5 days at this match as did my family.. Ok so trinity did not have as much fun stuck in the Stats shack as Diablo and I did on Range 5

Oh and thanks for Einshooter for brining FREEZIES!!!
