Guess that cartridge and projectile

Thought it would be fun if anyone would be able to guess what I was loading up today. It's a tough one. Well other than the 223 round beside it for reference.

Any guess on the bullet? 375 Ruger is correct.

Not the a-tip, but it is aluminum tip bullet. Regular 1-12 twist will stabilize this one.

Need more details when someone guesses correctly. I have been looking for a sleek 375 to try in this case.

Might not help guys too much, since I don't think they are available anymore...I got 75 of them for $30. So just having some fun with them. The 350 grain woodleigh gets just over 2500fps with Reloder 26 in my 23" barrel, so these should get a decent velocity. I haven't been to the range yet.

I have about 5 boxes of Chinchaga bullets. 7mm 155gr flat tip for 7-30 waters. Wish I knew he made these.

I shot my ladder test today, using Reloder 26, and the 325 grain chinchaga bullets. Got up to 2806fps for my last charge weight, starting getting a very faint ejector mark at 2735fps. Ejector mark got a little more noticable with my final shot, primers still looked great and were still round, not flattened.

Extremely high velocity I think for the 23" barrel I have. No load data anywhere using Reloder 26, but it works great for the heavies in the 375 Ruger. I use it to load my 350 grain Woodleigh bullets as well.
