Guess what it is

Hmmmm.... A DIY rail mounting jig/kit for an 870? That is clearly a wingmaster, and it attaches through the holes of the trigger pins...

Whatever it is, its for an 870 and its made in Canada by S&J, so how could I NOT want one?
 
Looks like a drill fixture. My first guess would have been to locate the scope rail holes on an 870 reciever.

Hmm, now that I look at it, my question is are the bushings screw adjustable to account for varying reciever thickness?

Hmm, if it's not for a scope mount, my next guess is for ghost rings.

Can you make a longer one for drilling out Stock Rem rail holes?
Do you know if the older generation of scattergun sights has the same length between the holes?

Thats somthing i do not know.
This jig was made to fit site made in the last year of so, i have not had my hands on any older ones to be able to tell.

We are working on a jig to install a top rail to the rem 870, prob be the new year before we can work on that.
