Yes it is high time we add a lever gun forum. Restricting it to just those outdated souls that shoot the 45/70Gov would clean up the other forums quite well, but opening it to include the obviously superior calibers like the 444Marlin would make it a forum that is actually productive.
The guide gun length rifles are widely under rated as far as their effective range, accuracy, and hunting versatility. More people are starting to realize that there is a reason they have been the main go to rifle for decades for many hunters - and it wasn't just because pump guns were the only other rifles at the gun store!
