Sorry, I am a noob here and I hope this question was not asked before.

So I always wander if you are a possible suspect of a shooting crime and your hobby happen to be involving guns, would you be likely "more of a suspect" than say... somebody who does not have a gun license??

I just would like to know things like this, before I get deep into this :)

cheers

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck .....

I would hope that if your hobby happens to involve guns and you do get a license, that you would do your level best to not get involved in a situation that would cause you to be a suspect in the first place. :slap:

To answer your question more directly...YES. If you are, say, one of five shootings suspects, and you're the only one who actually owns guns, you'd be first on the list.

What if say...

u were happen to be passing by the Ghetto and then there were a shooting. 1 man dead, the assailants escaped. One witness described you as being there. U were there alright, but it wasn't you. Would u be a primary targeted primarily or would the officers try to give u the benefit of a doubt and look for other possible leads??

Do I make sense?? NO?? :stirthepot2:

Sounds like a world of trouble, hopefully ballistics and striations can rule out your gun collection, and you as the shooter,

Hypothetically of course, if this situation were ever to have happened

"...a possible suspect..." Just being a firearms owner won't make you any more suspect than anyone else. If you were a suspect, there'd be some kind of tangible evidence that'd make the constabulary suspect you.

Stop worrying about stupid sh*t. You could be a suspect in all rape cases simply because you're a male. This kind of paranoia will get you nowhere.

I think you will be considered more of a suspect then someone who does not have a gun license or own a gun. As long as you aren't doing anything wrong and you haven't done anything wrong then you should be fine. If it causes trouble from investigations and you are not ever charged you can probably bring up a reasonable case against the police department providing your 100% innocent. Might get a decent pay off for you troubles if that were to ever happen too.
