I went down to see a buddy who lives near Grande Prairie, Alberta, a few weeks ago. We had planned to go sporting clays shooting on Sunday so I took down a Browning Cynergy Sporting. Instead he said he had a place lined up to hunt geese. It was a combined pea field. His blind was a 4 foot high rolled up wire mesh with straw attached to the outside. You make it into a circle and sit inside. It stuck out like a sore thumb on that flat field. We put it in the middle of 24 decoys. My shiney barrels must have been visible. We waited for a hour for the first geese and took 14 in less than an hour. Probably wouldn't be able to do that late in the season. Yes, it was legal. The season opened Sept. 1 and we were in a Sunday hunting area.
