Gun camo tape for goose

You don't ned any tape, ifyou are in a blind! We shot 22 Canadas Friday and 32 yesterday! My gun a very bright 391 Gold Sporting with Optima extended choke, Pierre, a vintage beretta 303. Don't move, and the geese won't be bothered with anything. I was just in Manitoba with 5 others in coffin blinds and we shot the following;
1st morning - 16 Canada's, 3 snows
1st night - 48 ducks
2nd morning - 43 snows
2nd night - 48 ducks
3rd morning - 16 canada's and 8 snows.
that theres good hunting, that there is. 3 plain black remington 870's among the bag of guns used.

Proof is in the pudding!One does not need camo guns for a succesfull hunt! One needs a good decoy pattern, a good guide/caller and most importantly, numbnuts that don't move to see the quarry!
It is also very important to remove all knock down birds!

Yes I have tried it and sure it takes any shine out of it. But I think you said you have a remington express, that should matte black anyways, correct? I have left it on for even 3 years, and when I took it off, there was no rust on it. Me and a couple other people have the fully camo guns to begin with, but I tried it on another one. Again as said before, I dont really think you need to camo a gun. Each to their own, I wouldnt trade mine for anything else though!

Each to their own, I wouldnt trade mine for anything else though!I went down to see a buddy who lives near Grande Prairie, Alberta, a few weeks ago. We had planned to go sporting clays shooting on Sunday so I took down a Browning Cynergy Sporting. Instead he said he had a place lined up to hunt geese. It was a combined pea field. His blind was a 4 foot high rolled up wire mesh with straw attached to the outside. You make it into a circle and sit inside. It stuck out like a sore thumb on that flat field. We put it in the middle of 24 decoys. My shiney barrels must have been visible. We waited for a hour for the first geese and took 14 in less than an hour. Probably wouldn't be able to do that late in the season. Yes, it was legal. The season opened Sept. 1 and we were in a Sunday hunting area.

Thanks, Potatos. Spiffy but a pain in the butt to reload a O/U in that little blind. My buddy had to wear ear plugs because of the muzzle blast from the ported barrels. Those 2 3/4" 1550 fps steel winchester shells do seem to hit hard. Vast improvement over the old Super X steel.
