Gun club in Toronto

I don't think they allow rifles at the CN club. They like to keep a low profile and don't want people walking around Union Station with rifle cases.

LKW can get you all of the local range info you need. I guess you need at least 100 to 300 yards for your .223 or .308.rifle. The Oshawa Gun Club would be good, but they're not licenced for restricted.

they ARE allowing restricted rifles ONLY NO handguns they have been alllowing restricted rilfes for many months now

Well that's good news at least. I wish they would allow handguns, so I could play with all of my toys at one club. It's so close to my place!

Restricted rifles in handgun or rifle caliber?

Do they still need referral for new comers to join?

it speeds things up thats for sure

not 100% needed through

the club needs younger members they have finally realized that

Is it just me or does it effectively cost about $1300 for the first year of membership at Sharon?

Im going through the process of joining the Burlington Rifle Club but would also like a longer outdoor range for when I buy an AR.

Sharon is $1000 for the first year. Then like $350 there after. Expensive as hell imo.

I am looking at missisauaga area and Oshawa since they are close and seem affordable. I just need to start making some calls as I really need to join a range

Try the Burlington Rifle Club... they allow pretty much anything and its 24hrs keycard access.

They do a monthly safety course but you may be able to sign up for the one next weekend. Im attending that one so I can finally start shooting.

Burlington like an hour drive for me. I know it's not that far but I do still have to pay for gas. I wish there was just something closer and more affordable. I would go to sharon except for the price.

24 hours keycard access and shoot anything I want is basically right up my alley.

I will have another look and maybe I see what I can do.

skeetgunner on this site is a director ask him. Or go down to the range. But and its a big but..if its ####### night and some lifemembers are around they might not open the door for you. Debbie B is the membership secretary. Skeetgunner should be able to hook you up.

For those wondering about EESA, try www. eesa. ca. Around 2 hours from TO. Great environment. First year is $260 and each successive year is $160. I think it has gone up this year to include a membership to CSSA, something you should have anyway. 24hour access, or so I am told. :D
Stormbringer is a dictator there. :dancingbanana: If anyone wants to try it out, several people on this board are members and I will be willing to take someone out to try it out. Unfortunately, I dont own any handguns to try out the indoor range. Or stop by on a Sunday, usually lots of people there willing to show you around.

This is the most active club in my area. The guys are great and the ranges are great and improving to awesome. Oh and :ar15:(black guns, not fa) are encouraged! :D Besides, where else do I get to shoot PS90 and FS2000? OR a new Para in 40sw. That was awesome last weekend. :beerchug: Ok enough boasting for today. :D
