Gun Clubs in NS?

As soon as you join AVSSC you are a member for the purpose of purchasing or owning a fire arm. The orientation and shoot are to integrate you into the club rules and provide a safe hobby environment for all.

Takes me an hour from Halifax

268$ taxes in is still about the same to join the ama

But also AMA becomes cheaper the next year. So 1 time 100$ fee, then 200$ membership. Then 200$ after every year.

MVRRC - Its under 200$ and then almost cuts in half to renew ( that's pay money, show up for orientation, get access to range )

Valley is FLAT out 115$ ( 4 shoots and then get a fancy ID card and keys to the range )

I'm In lwr Sackville, so I can likely knock 10-15 mins at least off travel time to avssc...

Scotia Gun Club is 25 metres. Can shoot up to .223.

Too bad you are not in the Strait area, our club charges only $30 a year and you can get a membership quickly. There is another club that only charges $20 a year, but, it takes some time to complete their membership process.

I didn't need no sponsor club member for Valley ( I left it blank and I got a card ). I been a member since like Sept, Ive been slow to get my 4th signature. Mainly because of the drive.

You do not need a sponsor. They really shouldn't even have that field on the application. I joined without issue without having a sponsor

Its just getting those 4 shoots is the biggest headache people find.

Correct, unless your a RSO (range safety officer ) and have the keys.
