So, I bought a pistol in the EE last week, unaware that the CFO here requires proof of club membership before they'll complete the transfer of ownership.
I've attempted to contact four clubs so far.
One (the AMA), I've sent in an application, which will take 2-3 weeks to process.
Another (Capt. Kidd) have said that to become a member, I'll have to come to their monthly meeting in 5 weeks.
The other two have both failed to respond to my email, and the one that has a phone number posted never seems to answer the phone when I try calling.
What I want to know is - is there a club in the area that I can join quickly and painlessly? The initial reason is obviously to complete the transfer, but I'll obviously need somewhere to shoot as well, so I'd like somewhere that has a decent facility too, ideally that will allow me to fire my .45 handgun, and some long range centrefire rifle target shooting too.
