SillyMike, from wherever you got those photos from, are there more? I’m particularly interested in the trigger guard tang where the serial number may be. Edit......found it.

That looks to me like a Lindner made Diamond Quality model 375, assuming it’s an ejector gun. It might be a Regent Diamond model 500 but I think those ones had more numerous gold inlays. But the extensiveness of the engraving also points to a Regent Diamond 500. Edit...Not Lindner made.

Mine are Diamond Quality model 275, the biggest difference being no gold.

I have some pretty nice firearms but then I see this this or the sxs shotgun thread and realize I’m still just a peasant ...hahaha

Beautiful guns/engraving!

As many guns as Ive owned and seen in my life, still amazing to see the artistry and unbelievable craftsmanship of some of these fine firearms. I thank all that post the beautiful pics of these unique pieces of art and history. To own or shoot one would be awesome and to take game under fair chase would be the icing on the cake! Your collection is truly outstanding. The name doesnt need mentioning as everyone knows of whom I speak.

Speaking of nice rib and fences

Hey now I've got one of these....or at least something similar, if a grade or so lower than the Royal.
Here's my newest-to-me Greener from earlier this year, a G2 ejector from 1901, 12g x 2 1/2" chambers with 27" damascus barrels.
All original and interestingly also has a French address on the rib.

Thanks!

Yes those are horn inlays, and more elaborate here than on another gun I own that just has small diamonds.
The engraving of the dogs is nicely done, it’s beautiful work.

Truth be told I don’t really ‘need’ anymore Greeners....
......well except maybe a big working 10, and that is if I ever move somewhere that I’d actually use one...
......or a vintage high grade hammer would be pretty slick, and that I’d take out and use this weekend!!
Seriously though I can’t really imagine getting anymore, I’m certainly not looking for any.
I think it’s time to save up and carry on.
Yep, made a dream list up a little while ago of 8-10 guns and if I even make it to 4 of them then I’m a lucky guy....it’s a nice list. :HFU:
Sure it’s a bit childish but what the heck, it’s a part of the hobby and the fun of collecting, may as well work with a plan, and I actually find it works....that is, first identifying something that you want, and then letting life, the universe, whatever reveal it to you.
Within reason of course, and yah it’s not exactly that simple but I think we motivate ourselves for things like this, and develop the connections to make things we want possible.
Make your own destiny sort of thinking!
Anyways not sure there are many more Greeners in my future.
For now I really enjoy shooting the 3 that I have.
