Gun Kote??

I couldn't find it in Canada, but I ordered it and had it shipped UPS ground to my buddy just across the border. He runs the Fedex office:D.

I just did one of my Norinco M14s in gun metal blue. This product is outstanding. Compared to Duracoat, Armacoat, Brownells, etc, I think it is the best.

It does take a little more prep, a little more time and a completely dust free atmosphere but the extra effort in my opinion is well worth it.

The following pic does not do the finished product justice.

A good airbrush is a must as is a well ventilated area to work in. This stuff has a super hard finish and there are many colours available. I wouldn't hesitate to use it on any firearm.

I just heard from Joe at KG inthe US. P&D have some samples, and they are thinking of using R.Nicholls as a distributor  !!

Right now, KG will mail stuff to you. And they're pretty reasonable, I recieved a little can of GearKote in the fall and I think the postage was like 6 bux.

Really smartass. Why shoud something cost 200% in Canada over US. Same amount of labor, same material cost. I did 2 barrelled actions with the 'stainless' gunkote. Didn't use 2 oz. of the $20 can. Bead blasting, phos. treatment and gunkote took 3 hr. plus time in the oven. Mark
