Gun laws, F/A uppers starting to ship out and where am I in the que?

We have some lowers out being anodized at the moment, more will be going out for anodizing in 2 weeks.
We are still getting 10 to 15 inquiries via email or phone daily asking for updates, which does not help us to keep production going.

I can't stress enough. The moment a persons order is ready to go we WILL be in contact with them. We want the $$ and to make room for the next batch of parts.

I still think you should implement a system where if you call or email more then once a month that your order gets knocked back to the back of the line

I have a six year old, so fully understand "are we there yet,...are we there yet....are we there yet...are we there yet". You will get it when its done! You think they sit around for weeks and then go "oh yea we should let this person know"? This said, I hope it won't cause too much consternation if I drop off my parts for expert assembly in the near future as I am on run 2....and fully paid.

I know I'm very anxious to get mine as I was told late August early September...to stop people from calling you guys could do a weekly update say every Friday like " okay guys we are shipping serials 300-350 this week"...that would give people a general idea of when they will get there parts...

I would prefer them spending the time finishing up more MS's to go out the door. Their track record speaks for itself.

I know how folks feel but its a matter of weeks...until that grin arrives...

Or just hire a teenager to answer the phone, that way the smiths can spend time working on guns not answering phones and emails...

Maybe everyone just needs to read post #1

Every single person in run 2 is busting with anticipation to get their receivers, start putting them together with the parts you've been staring at for months, and start flexing on the MS photo thread.

Deep breath guys, we are in the home stretch. A little more patience.

I don't even have half the parts yet lol, mainly kicking around whether I buy a heavily marked up 18.6 faxon gunner barrel or something else.

I’m still waiting for my lower from run#1 and a pair of the first run FA uppers, I had them enlarge the ejection port on one for a 50beo build which took some extra time as those were going to be anodized in a special batch. I have emailed a few times with no answer, I just don’t have the heart to bother them over the phone

I sent an email cause I have some JP parts on order and will be sending everything in to get done, but yah, I don't want to call and waste time.

I only wish it was that simple. Believe it or not our QC program culls some parts that do not meet our standard, which means the part requires being made again, which means interrupting OP3 to insert the culled parts serial number on the next lower being machined. Also we do not waste the time doing the hand finishing in sequential order meaning #302 may or may not be finished anodize prep work after 301 and before 303. Some take more work to get the finish perfect.

No I do not want to bring on someone who is clueless to cover comms. ALL phones and email are shared and calls can range from telemarketers to serious clients with a host of different questions. It takes months to get an new hire up to speed as we are not a big box store who hires ex hamburger flippers to man the gun counter which means your set would be delayed for several months being as it is your idea.:p
