Gun Mount on UTV

Well. I have an Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail. I've been kitting it out for use in the bush. Yeah, yeah, I know - it's not ideal for hunting, but the deal was too good to pass up. So. I've got the rear crash bars, plus the rear spare-tire mount to use for gear, as there is limited trunk space, so shotgun storage in the back is not viable. I have a few options for mounting a gun boot. I'm having a hard time finding a specific product. I'd like a gun boot mount that can attach the boot to 1.75" diameter bars. Probably the best for me will be lengthwise on the roof. I just can't find a damned product description that says the mounting bracket will fit on 1.75" tube. Anyone know of anything?

Wholesale has a pretty good selection of these types of things. I mounted the soft "claw" types on the rails of my gator, but that's not for bush work, only around the yard.

I've been looking at the "rackbone" clamp mount for a while. It's around $200+ US dollars. But go to youtube and type: "rackbone clamp and go" first hit will have you thinking about it.
 
Good setup, and I like the behind the seat mount for the truck. I think my gun would be a lot safer on the roll bar over the windshield than on the outside of the cab vertically mounted, if you hit a big enough branch your gun would be toast.
 
I'll probably go to Royal. I'm thinking a pair of gun boots mounted lengthwise on the roof will probably be best during hunting season when Mrs. Cannon & I are out. The other option for solo riding is installing the dash bar and then two v-clamps for my Dominion Arms Outlaw, which is my backpacking go-to. Then I can also grab it if I'm stuck in the wasteland being chased by Lord Humungous and his cronies trying to steal my gasoline.

I have the Koplin 6.0 double mount for the back of my Yamaha Rhino. Rock solid setup. I have a jockey box in the front section of the back of the rhino then the gunboot mounts that are side-mounts with still room to spare for a chainsaw and other items if needed.

I've mounted two of the Kolpin Boottector brackets on my Kioti Mechron. I use the Gunboot 6 and a chainsaw boot or two gunboots depending on what I am doing. The mounting bracket is two pieces, one piece mounts to the vehicle the other hold the boot. It is designed so that the boot can be swivelled into any position and the boot can be removed quick and easy. The bracket that mounts to the vehicle could likey be secured to your tubes with the right sized muffler clamps.
