Hey there, just wanted to welcome you to the forum this is a great one and you'll like it I'm sure, I know I do, I'm also from NF and seeing your into sport shooting and from St John's I'm thinking that you may be a member of the SJ's Rod and Gun club, I might run into you up there one day I'm also a member of the club (joined last year) anyway enjoy the forum.

Now, hopefully, you are or will become an expert on "dial 911 = Dial-a-Prayer" in so many areas of Canada, urban, 'seconds count' to rural where the response time may be in hours or even days.
And yet, other than the ancient UK "my home is my castle and I have the right to defend it" and the also ancient rights of self defence, in Canada, we are being denied these rights by police departments who admittedly can not protect us. (The official LEO position as evidenced by the Assoc. of Canadian Chiefs of Police", think of the Chief Constable of Toronto, is that the Laws are to protect the LEO themselves, not the people that pay their salaries!!!) The Dep't of Justice Crown Proseceuters seem to be a pack of out-of-control Rottweilers, as evidenced by the current case before the courts in the Niagara Peninsula. But then of course, it was the Liberally directed Dep't of Justice directed by the infamous Alan Rock, who forced C-68 on us in the beginning.
This has become a rant for which I am well known, preaching to the choir.
