Gun post vs gun nutz

I have bought and sold on both with positive experiences
However GP does have a much better format for inserting pics in your add
Last purchase was on GP. The gentleman I bought the item from was selling on the EE as well . I asked him for more pics and asked if I was a member on GP as well, I searched his name and what he was selling and sure enough there were 8 good quality pics I could view for my pleasure
I love the EE here on CGN and will always recommend to friends looking to join but they got to get a better system in place for inserting pics. That’s just my opinion

I think it's mostly a storage issue for CGN. Pics are pretty heavy (5+Mb, but they can be downsized). But the sheer volume: 12 sub-forums on the EE, each with 2-8 pics each (avg of 4), it adds up. Someone could confirm, but I think when you are a "pro" (or whatever it's called) member on CGN, I think you get storage and can more easily insert pictures in your ads?

I’ve been more successful selling on GP than CGN. I always post the same ad at the same time on both. 70-80% of my sales happen there.

That said, I’ve had people without licenses attempt to buy my handguns for cash on GP. I would also never post a WTB ad there.

While I agree in principle with much of what you say, I like poorly written ads with little description and no photos, usually created by someone with no clue as to how to sell something. I think they often think they are "above" it. My reason? Sometimes there are little gems that are overlooked because the ad is so poorly done and contains so little info. I look for hints.

When I sell, I'm trying to write an ad and post the pictures that answer every question a buyer could have. Because I actually want to sell the item. LOL

I missed a beautiful little 410 single as the posted pic was low quality and grainy. Made the gun look of patina and fade. Then i see hugh quality pics from the guy who bought it bragging about it. Ya it happens. I try to post the best pics and description i can to make it easy for both partys. Right now my camera is screwed. Broke the lens so only the wide angle camera works so i havent posted the rifles i want to sell yet until i get a new phone.
