Hey guys,

I am trying to sell a Savage 111 30-06 with a limb saver recoil pad and an Elite 3200 mounted on it. So far I have had little luck and even had members tell me you can buy this exact gun new for $415 from Ellwood and a CGN sponsor which I have looked and the scope is not an Elite 3200.

Whats a good price for it, it has probably around 50 bullets down the barrel.

So what would a good asking price be as $500 seems to be far too high.

I'd think $500 / shipped would be a very fair price.

Those scopes go for $180-$200 on the EE alone. You could always separate the scope from the rifle and sell them that way. Probably do better.

It'll go closer to the fall. Pretty slow right now.

I'd say keep with your price. Pretty hard to find a rifle and scope for less than 500 nowadays.
 
Yup, most guys aren't smart enough to get a hunting rifle in spring, sight it, shoot it, tune it (if desired) and be good to go in fall.

My favorite gunsmith tells me that his most busy time is during the hunting season. Most guys are getting piddly things done for the upcoming road hunting adventure.
 
Hang tight with that price and wait until its in demand. Doesn't sound like a bad price if its in nice shape and its got a $200 or more scope on it.
