gun refinishing in Nanaimo?

Gunnar up in PG isn't taking any new orders until at least spring...so I am looking locally to get my norc 1911 refinished. blasted, and parked...
or bead blasted and powder coated?

But don't know much about powdercoat finishings on guns...

Anybody know of an outfit locally who can refinish a pistol?

Powder coating goes on thick..be careful it doesn't mess up any tolerances.

A guy in Campbell River named Jim Taylor, reblued a remington 700 for me, and did a terriffic job! jim taylor 923 8323.

He does however take a while to get enough things together sometimes, though im sure if you just asked him ETA, he can let you know how long. i think i waited about 4 months to get it, however he did run into some heath problems while it was with him.
