What do you think will happen to the used gun market when the long gun registry is officially gone. Perhaps people that have had firearms and never registered them will feel more comfortable selling them without the goverment being involved or do you think we will even notice a difference in prices and availability ?

I still think guns like the SKS and 858 will sell well, post LGR.
And if they sell well enough, prices will rise.
If the market is flooded with non-restricteds, that people were too shy to register,
then prices on E.E. may become reasonable.
Only time will tell.

bought few unrgestered guns from ol folks thats havent been hunting for 20 + years.
It was no foss, no problem few months ago.
just called the place and told the lady it was unregistered and done in 5 mins.
gave her serial # barrel length and make. simple as transfering firearms with others.

That has been my experience too.
What I am seeing is the number of people without PAL's that are waiting for the legislation to pass so they can buy guns and ammunition again.
When you try to explain the reality they want to argue . . . Go Figure.

With the LGR scrapped, they won't need certs. to sell them.
Not everybody registered all their firearms,
because the didn't want to, for whatever reason.
Now when the LGR is scrapped they are free to buy and sell, with no paper trail.
It can't be denied that registering=confiscation. History has proven it.

Yep, getting rid of the registry has nothing to do with buying guns or ammo. It will still be illegal to own a gun without a PAL or Possession only and it will still be illegal to buy a gun or ammo without it.
