what would the weight on a rig like that be? Looks super sweet but I guess its not for hauling around? bench rest/sniper nest someplace the main ideal behind something like this?
 
Mandown.. I have not weighed it. But I will when i get home next week. Truthfully, It is no lightweight, But not too heavy overall due to the use of alloys. Yes it was designed with the intent of being a precision military style rifle / Bench rest rifle and not really a hunting piece, but with a sling, it wouldnt be that bad :) Its not a long rifle seeing as the AAC-SD has a 20" barrel.
My accuracy has significantly improved. Plus I was having issues with the factory internal magazine. So I do not regret the purchase as I have addressed 2 issues that I had with the rifle, It also folds down for storage nicely for storage / transport.
