What kind of accuracy are you getting with the rig now?
havent been to the range in two weeks. ( Since i took the last pics ). Working up handloads at the moment.
My handloads have been under an inch at 100m. im trying all different sorts of 168 gr. to see what it likes the most and then go from there.
I love my rifle also. I should point out my rifle is the 20 inch 1:10 twist..( I have a tri-port brake ordered.) nothing on there at the moment. I don't have any H4895, but i tried hornady 168 gr amax, Matrix 168 rebated boat tails, barnes ttsx, and nosler partition with IMR 4320.Cool. I've got the same rifle but not as cool a stock as yours. My 700 seems to like 168gr Sierra MK behind 41.5gr of H4895 for sub-MOA groups.
###y rifle!!I know the feeling!
This is one of the first 10 chassis in country by Wolverine almost 2 years ago just before RCMP got all the rest till next batch. See how they changed the front rail near the recoil lug. I just found out 1 month ago that they actually change de front tube design.
I have a 20" 1-12 twist barrel
I run:
44g Varget ( low accuracy node is not an option IMO for short barrel if you plan on shooting longer ranges )
168 SMK
2.810COL
sub MOA Load. Average 0.55" @ 100 meters
