Wheres a good place to buy solid wood gunstock blanks, preferrably here in Canada, but States is fine.
 
If your looking for unturned blanks, I deal almost exclusively with Cecil Fredi (in the US) - you can find his web site & contact using the above name. E-mail him a description of what you are looking for and he will E-mail you pics. of some blanks + costs. Very good person to deal with, I'm sure there are others. FWIW --- John303.
 
There is a specialty wood place in Halifax N-S they sell walnut blanks I dont remember the name of the place though.

Nice spot for any wood workers to look around in. Caution I can't seam to get out of there without buying something.

I bought a unfinished stock from Boyds, they were good to deal with.
 
If you are willing to shop on the US side, find the Martini Collectors site with the list of suppliers, and they have a half dozen suppliers links to wood outfits.
Prices vary a lot.

I have been eyballing the Cali'Co Hardwoods blanks. Been told that they require some care setting up on a duplicator, as they are cut fairly close to size, but the offer about the best prices I've seen, the broadest selection of types, too.

Worth a look, IMO.
