I had seen these hangers before but decided not. I was concerned they did not look very secure, I thought that they might call off the hooks if I bumped them. I currently keep my hand guns in the "Tupperware" box on the shelf.
I must say your set up is making me reconceder that.

I have the hangers for my pistols and they are fairly secure. They are angled slightly upwards so the gun doesn't slide off and the rubber coating gives it a little bit of grip.
