Gun to Get.......

What is the gun to get? I am mixed but would like a non-restricted 223

I am partial to the SL8 & Tavor however the SL8 is a bigger gun and the tavor has the optic with it......

I say get on the waiting list for a xcr. Wolvirine is suppose to be bring them in. As for as i know the got 2 orders from rob arms

I had a Sig Blue liked it alot but, Had a Ar10 liked it alot but.
Got a c311 liked it alot an kepted it.
Got a SL8 really like it going to keep it.
Just got a AR180b an like it too , its going to be my walk around gun when I walk my dogs.

I'm torn between the Tavor (yummy non restricted bullpup goodness) and the XCR (shiny new-fangled optics-ready). The two things that hold me back from the 180 are the pistol grip and a hunch that I'm probably only going to have one non-restricted 5.56 black rifle. I'd prefer either the XCR or Tavor to the 180 under those circumstances.

Oh, and the PE-90 doesn't make my list at this point in time because I'd like to be able to use my AR mags.

I've been called this week for my turn on the XCR, the new batch of rifle wolverine sell goes 1995$, its 200$ lower than the first 24 that came this summer (and sold in like 10 mins). I'll looking forward to see it arrive ! Get your name on the list ASAP, i'm pretty sure these things sells like hotcakes and I'm sure they will stay scarce for a while.

can't go wrong with any of those rifles, but the ar180 is the way to go IMO... especially with the new canadian made aluminum lowers that are looking like a pretty real possibility.

I would be happy with a Tavor (with accessories);

A Silenced Tavor SMG (without the metal cord);and

A Micro Galil (but one that co-witnesses).

The Tavor is only an income tax refund away, the Galil is a 100mile move to the south, but the SMG is made of unobtainium.
