Gunbroker

Yup, I was on there a few weeks ago it was fine, checked yesterday im blocked as well

Is this the work of the US or Canada to block us from that site ?

They're blocking through TOR as well. This sucks. Should get IRG on this considering they had an arrangement for us on GB.

Is everyone else blocked from gunbroker?
Damn. I'm blocked, too, even after having gone through the process of setting up an account with them last year.

I had noticed other US gun dealer sites blocking non-US IP addresses; maybe it's a choice the owners make to keep things domestic. I'd imagine it can be a PIA to export arms from the US - and perhaps riskier for those FFLs to do so?

Who knows.

According to Google it is blocked from their side. It’s the site itself which has put walls up. I google gun auctions USA and I hit the first site that came up and it opened up as expected. I think it’s a GB thing and not the CRTC surprisingly.

The Canadian government has not passed any laws or internet censorship bills to ban or block GunBroker.com.

If you are seeing a "Blocked" or "Access Denied" page from Canada, it is entirely due to automated cybersecurity filters managed by GunBroker and its security provider, Cloudflare.

The site triggers these blocks for Canadian visitors for several distinct reasons:

1. Broad Geographic IP FilteringGunBroker is an American online marketplace where 99% of its sellers do not ship internationally or to Canada.

Because cross-border firearm transactions involve strict U.S. ATF export laws and Canadian import restrictions (like the Canadian national handgun freeze), GunBroker’s firewall frequently restricts or heavily flags traffic originating from foreign IP addresses to minimize illegal transaction attempts and fraud.

2. Cloudflare Security MitigationGunBroker uses Cloudflare to defend its website against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and malicious bots.

When a large block of Canadian IP addresses exhibits automated activity or unusual web traffic patterns, Cloudflare will occasionally issue a blanket IP or Location Block across those regional networks.

3. VPN and Proxy FlaggingIf you use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or privacy extension while browsing from Canada, your connection is much more likely to be intercepted by GunBroker's system.

Security tools routinely flag known VPN server IPs as "suspicious activity," automatically rendering a block page. How to Bypass the BlockIf you need to access the site to browse or check listings, you can try these quick troubleshooting methods:

Disable Your VPN: Turn off any active VPNs or Apple Private Relay settings, then refresh the page.

Switch Networks: If you are on home Wi-Fi, try disconnecting and using your mobile device’s cellular data (or vice-versa) to cycle your IP address.

Clear Cache or Use Incognito: Open a Google Chrome Incognito window or clear your browser's cookies to remove old session tokens

Contact the website owner or support team and give them the Ray ID shown at the bottom of your error page so they can unblock you

Why have I been blocked?

This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks. The action you just performed triggered the security solution. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.

What can I do to resolve this?

You can email the site owner to let them know you were blocked. Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page.

Gunbroker just stopped working for me 2 days ago.
Mobile, pc, phone network.
Anyone here that it is working fine?

Okay, but isn't it an American only sight? I'm confused as to how this could be a benefit to Canadians... Please enlighten me here
You can get an account with them as a Canadian. They require relevant id like a PAL and drivers license. I sent a selfie with my id held next to my head and got my account activated. Then you can buy whatever you want off gunbroker and have it shipped to Canada through an importer, as long as it is legal in Canada. It’s like buying from Irunguns, but with an extra step and extra fees.
