Guns&Ammo's article.. Ruger 1022 Takedown

I'll never understand why "grouping under an inch at 50 yards if I do my part" is considered acceptable. Especially with a scope. With a 4x scope, 1/2-3/4" should be the largest groups on any given day, sub 1/2" if I do my part. And yes, even for a bone stock semi.

What's the 10/22 takedown do if he doesn't have it in a rest with bunny ears?

I'm quite certain under an inch at 50 yards acceptable because for many users, that's pest control distance.

You surely won't see this competing or winning benchrest competitions, but they weren't designed to, especially with the horrendous bedding issues these things must have.
