chapters don't sell them anymore because of the "lack of space". Honestly, this is the answer when I asked. The objectifying of anorexic women in plain view is waaaaaay less likely to offend.

ALL Chapters stopped selling all firearms magazines a couple years ago. I was mad. In fact I still am. In Edmonton go to Hub cigar on Whyte (or the temporary location on calgary tr. N) Best selection I've seen.

Its not lack of space. It was decided by management to not permit firearm magazines because they wanted it to be more "family oriented". A very good friend of mine went into Coles (Chapters owned) and asked for the current Gun Bible. He was told by the salesperson that they dont sell that kind of NAZI PROPAGANDA in a very unfriendly, unprofessional way. My friend was shocked and stunned. He had family that fought against the nazi's to my understanding. I only buy from Chapter's if I cant get it anywhere else. I was highly offended as well since I was placed in that boat as well by that statement. Im virulently anti-Nazi...

By doing what they are doing they are being Nazi like. Banning books, censorship, restricting firearm ownership...

Anyway, RANT OFF!

Chapters got taken over/bought by the owners of Indigo Books. They are virulently anti-gun and big time Lieberal supporters. That is why I don't shop at Chapters anymore, and by association Coles or Smiths, all of which are part of the Indigo/Chapters family.

Looks like a good read, hoping my local corner store has that issue in! Pretty sad when a small "Mom & Pop" operation has a much better selection of guns and shooting magazines than a mega-store like Chapters!
