Hey Guys,

Wanted to ask for peoples advice/opinions on guns for that fit a couple categories. Used to shoot a bit, bought an SKS to plink with and have an old lever action 3030 that didn't get used much. Bought a 12 gauge (cant remember the make) because it looked tacticool and was only 400 bucks, its started screwing up almost right away, not firing after trigger pull etc.

Anyways, I was thinking this morning about what kinds of guns would fit the following categories (if you need more info just ask, i know I'm not thinking about everything):

All suggestions should keep this in mind (in no particular order): Ease of Maintenance, Reliability, Longevity, Easy to find parts, Purchase Cost (something inexpensive, not cheap, dollar for dollar great value).

I'm asking these questions because I'd like to purchase some more guns, and I really want to find 1 or 2 in each category that I can use for years to come. Obviously everyone would love to buy a brand new truck or car (OR GUN) every year, but I cant afford that. Id rather spend the money on quality that will last, but I'm not a rich man either.

What would be your choices for:

SHOTGUN (Hunting)

RIFLE (semi auto with a red dot style sight, target practice, more of a tactical style rifle)

Handgun (semi auto, target practice)

Handgun (revolver, target practice)

RIFLE (bolt action/semi auto with scope for longer distance shooting, hunting)

.22 RIFLE (plinking, can take alot of rounds)

Keep survivalism, hunting in mind. Bonus points for sights/scopes that are good and any other gear that would be interesting to look at.

Thanks in advance fellas!

Kodiak defense WK180 is hot right now as I've been told, well rounded semi auto, best bang for your buck. Also a canadian owned company so getting parts or taking with costumer service would be easy.

Shotgun = 870 Wingmaster without a doubt
Semi-auto rifle = WK180C - like the NR and it is reliable for me
Handgun = Ruger MK IV - so easy to clean and shoots very well
Hunting Rifle = Tikka T3 - light, accurate, reliable - enough said
Plinking 22 = CZ 455 - reasonable price, accurate and reliable

Scopes = Swarovski for rifles (buy once), Sightron 4-20 for 22
